Police report that a man was shot in the Little Woods area of New Orleans East.
The shooting happened in the 6900 block of Salem Drive.
Police did not say when the shooting happened but did report it at 4:49 am Tuesday morning.
“Initial police reports show one male victim sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS. No further details are currently available,” said an NOPD report.
