The NOPD is investigating a shooting at a busy intersection in uptown New Orleans.
New Orleans police say a man was shot inside his vehicle at the intersection of St Charles Avenue and Calliope Street Monday evening. Police say a woman in an SUV pulled up to the man's vehicle and opened fire on his vehicle.
Initial police reports show that a man sustained a gunshot wound to his body. The victim was transported to a local hospital via private vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
