A shooting in New Orleans East has landed a man in the hospital.
According to New Orleans Police Department spokesperson Reese Harper, that shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday at a location on Chef Menteur Highway near Downman Road.
Harper says officers found a man who had been shot at least once when they arrived at the scene. An EMS crew took that victim to the hospital.
His condition has not been disclosed.
The case remains under investigation.
