New Orleans Police say they were called to three separate homicides in an eight hour period Sunday.
"Around 9:15 p.m. First District officers responded to a call reporting shots fired in the 2000 block of Dumaine Street," according to a news release. "Upon arrival they discovered an unresponsive male victim suffering from an undetermined number of gunshot wounds."
The victim died at the scene.
Less than an hour earlier, another man was shot dead.
"Around 8:27 p.m. Sixth District officers responded to the report of a man down inside a location in the 2000 block of Constance Street. Upon arrival, they discovered an unresponsive adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds."
He also died at the scene.
Earlier child was shot to death.
"Around 1:41 p.m. Seventh District officers were called to the 8000 block of Curran Blvd to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a juvenile female suffering from a gunshot wound."
She died at the scene as well.
