WIth rain threatening southeast Louisiana this weekend, a Mandeville dog krewe is postponing its parade until next week.
The Krewe Du Pooch says it will now hold its parade and costume contest on Saturday February 24. The canine Carnival celebration was originally scheduled for this Saturday, but the threat of inclement weather forced organizers to move back the event.
The fifth-annual Krewe Du Pooch event will still take place at the Mandeville Lakefront. This year's theme is "Puppy Love."
