The "no kings" protests took place to stand against the Trump administration
for, among other reasons, its stance on immigration, in particular the round ups of undocumented immigrants taking place.
The protests come amid word that the White House may be pivoting its stance, at least temporarily.
Sources tell CBS News that there will be a pause on picking up suspected undocumented individuals from hotels, restaurants and farms as the administration fears it is hurting those industries.
It is estimated that ICE is picking up about 1300 immigrants per day.
