A shooting on the Westbank has left one person dead and Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Deputies searching for clues.
According to Captain Jason Rivarde of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to Mount Kennedy Drive near Ames Drive in Marrero just before 7 p.m. Saturday.
Rivarde says when deputies arrived, they found a man dead of multiple gunshot wounds. Rivarde did not provide the victim's name as deputies are still working to notify his family.
