St. Charles Parish President Matthew Jewell announces a mass COVID-19 vaccination site will be coming to the parish by next weekend.

The vaccination site will be located at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center at 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Pkwy, Luling. The site will service all of the River and Bayou Parishes. Temperature checks and masks will be required to enter the facility. Vaccinations will be by appointment only.

“We are eager to partner with Ochsner and our local hospital, St. Charles Parish Hospital, on this mass vaccination site as it provides a crucial and valuable resource to St. Charles Parish residents, as well as residents in all of Region 3,” said President Matthew Jewell. “This is a big step towards returning to some sort of normalcy and I encourage all those who are eligilble to get vaccinated.”
