Looking for a job? You might want to consider adding COVID vaccination status to your résumé. A survey by resumebuilder.com finds hiring managers like seeing applicants' vaccination status offered up voluntarily, especially if you're fully immunized.

UNO business professor Mark Rosa says that's understandable.

"I think employers are worried about COVID for obvious reasons," said Rosa."They're worried about liability, they're worried about someone getting someone else sick, getting the customers sick, I mean, it goes on and on."

Rosa says with courts still dealing with the question of whether employers can make workers get the shots, or even ask, applicants volunteering that info is appreciated.

"I think that is a blessing for employers," he said. "Wondering, then, if they're going to get somebody ill or what's going to happen with them."

According to the survey of 1,250 companies, 69 percent of hiring managers are more likely to hire someone who's fully vaccinated, and 33 percent said they would skip right over applicants who don't include any vaccination information.
