An 18-year-old teen is dead following a shooting at a Gonzales Waffle House.
Two others, including a teen from LaPlace were wounded when the gunfire erupted.
It happened at the Gonzales Waffle House on Highway 30 near the I-10 interchange around 2am this morning.
According to the Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate, Police arrived on scene to find the victims down in the parking lot.
The 18-year-old was taken to Our Lady of Lake Ascension Hospital, nearby.
That’s where 18-year-old Willie Bridges was declared dead.
Gonzales Police did not say what happened to cause the shooting.
A search for the suspect or suspects is still underway.
One of the other victims, a juvenile, was taken to a hospital in Baton Rouge and is in stable condition.
The third victim took their own car to the hospital. This person, from LaPlace, is in critical condition at Our Lady of Lake Ascension Hospital.
