Louisiana State Police have taken a New Orleans mother into custody for allegedly helping her escapee child.
"Through the use of numerous investigative means, detectives were able to determine that Tassin’s mother, 32-year-old Kenione Rogers, provided transportation to Tassin in the events following his escape from the Juvenile Justice Center," said Trooper Kate Stegall of LSP.

Rogers was booked in New Orleans on charges of principle to simple escape, accessory after the fact to simple escape, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Tassin was re-captured last week. He has repeatedly escaped from custody in Bridge City and New Orleans. He is awaiting trial on charges he committed a carjacking the last time he fled the Bridge City lock up.
