A motorcyclist is dead after a late night crash in New Orleans East.
The crash happened around 10:20 p.m. Saturday on the Almonaster Avenue Overpass near Jourdan Road.
According to a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson, the motorcyclist struck a concrete barrier on the southbound span. An EMS crew pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
