A day after announcing that it wants to build a transit tunnel beneath New Orleans, the Elon Musk-owned Boring Company said Wednesday that the project would involve the Convention Center and Central Business District.
"Great initial meetings with elected officials and the Convention Center," The Boring Company posted on X. "Goal is to strengthen connectivity by the Convention Center and Business District, and reduce event related congestion."
The proposed NOLA Loop was one of three projects the company announced Tuesday. The other two were in Dallas and Baltimore.
The Boring Company said after meetings with Baltimore officials, that project will not move forward.
