One of the people killed in school shooting in Tennessee Monday was from Baton Rouge.
Katherine Koonce's Facebook identifies her as "Head of School at The Covenant School."
Her bio says she is from Baton Rouge, attended University High Lab School at LSU and went to LSU for college.
Koonce was one of three adults killed when a gunman attacked the school. Three children were also shot dead.
Police say the killer armed himself with “assault-style” weapons and a handgun before carrying out an elaborate plan to attack the school. They say he had conducted surveillance of the school and even drew out maps of his plans.
