Neutral ground parking is now allowed due to the threat of heavy rain

Severe weather is moving into the New Orleans Metro area and now residents in the city can park their vehicles on higher ground.

The heavy rain could bring street flooding to low-lying areas so city officials have now allowed residents to park on the neutral ground until further notice.
