The suspect in a deadly New Orleans East shooting is in jail on a second-degree murder charge.
New Orleans police and federal marshals arrested Joshua Stewart on Wednesday in connection with the death of Armand Williams.
Police say Williams was standing near an apartment dumpster on Trapier Street last Wednesday when Stewart shot him multiple times. Williams later died at a hospital.
Stewart's bond is set at one million dollars.
