Cops say a man delivering a pizza was beaten by a pair of robbers.
"Subject number 1 tried to take the pizza, while subject number 2 punched the victim and hit him with a plastic pole," according to an initial NOPD report.
It happened when the man was bringing a pizza to an address on Tonti near MLK Blvd.
"The location which was an abandoned apartment."
Police got the call just before 4:00pm Saturday.
"The two subjects then took the pizza and fled in an unknown direction."
The victim said they appeared to be around 19 years old.
