Authorities are asking for help finding a man who is missing from his New Orleans home.
"The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for 72-year-old William Clark," LSP Sgt. Ross Brennan said in a news release.
Clark was last seen on Monday, August 31, 2026, at his residence on Johnson Street in New Orleans. LSP received the request to issue an alert at approximately 3:24 a.m. today.

"Clark is a black male with brown eyes and short grey hair. He is 6’1” tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds, and was last seen wearing a yellow shirt with red stripes and green jeans. Family reports that he has a medical condition that may impair his judgment."
Loved ones believe Clark walked away from his home.
"Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at (504) 821-2222 or dial 911."
