New Orleans Police say they arrested a Seventh Ward woman for stabbing her child.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon in the 2500 block of A.P. Tureaud Avenue.
According to the NOPD, the woman told her children to go outside yesterday afternoon while she "entertained a guest."
The report said "The children refused due to the heat conditions outside, and the suspect armed herself with a knife and stabbed the victim."
