What’s the most popular candy in the trick-or-treat haul in Louisiana? According to a recent study by CandyStore.com, an online candy retailer that deals in bulk shipments, the Pelican State’s favorite sweets are sour.
Lemonheads led the way in Louisiana, with Reese’s Cups grabbing the runner-up spot and Blow Pops coming in third.

Reese’s Cups had the most sales nationwide, followed by Skittles, M&M’s, Starburst and Hot Tamales.
And while the season’s most divisive sweet treat, candy corn, was no one’s first choice, it did come in either second or third in 14 different states.
