While WWL’s Newell Normand says the Democrats are looking to regroup after a disastrous debate performance by President Joe Biden, he also says he can’t give a victory to the Republican candidate, former President Donald Trump.
“Donald Trump, I thought, had many opportunities to put a bunch of nails in the political coffin of Joe Biden and missed every single last one,” Normand said.
The WWL host said there were several issues Trump could have gotten easy wins, and yet he faltered.
“There should be a recitation of facts that just flow right off that you’re able to highlight,” Normand said. “The points that you want to make relative to the failures of the Biden administration in immigration enforcement. Was it done? No. The same thing with the economy.”
