Authorities say they have taken suspected arsonists into custody.
"The New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) announced that suspects believed responsible for the January 20, 2026, Aggravated Arson at 1383-85 St Bernard Ave have been taken into custody," Captain Edwin Holmes said in a news release.
He says Louisiana State Police Troop NOLA assisted in the arrests.
"Fire Investigators from the NOFD and Louisiana State Fire Marshal worked tirelessly to pinpoint valuable information related to this crime."
Holmes says they will release further details soon.
"More information related to these arrests, including the identification of the suspects, will be forthcoming."
