Two young women and one young man faces charges after getting pulled over in Boutte.
“Members of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop,” Sgt. Jenni Barrette said in a news release. “Officers located and seized approximately 770 vape cartridges containing THC, Tapentadol Hydrochloride pills (a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance), and $5,583.00 in U.S. currency.”

Barrette says three people were in the vehicle:
- 20-year-old Cole Charpentier of 2104 Laban Avenue, Houma, Louisiana
- 19-year-old Laurie Jo Billiot of 108 W 63rd Street, Cut Off, Louisiana
- 23-year-old Demi Pitre of 119 W 69th Street, Cut Off, Louisiana.
Charges include possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
