Firefighters fought a 2-alarm fire in Central City in the early hours Monday morning.
At about 2:39 a.m., New Orleans firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at an abandoned single-story home on the corner of Willow and Third Streets.
At the peak of the fire, flames were so intense, they reached an occupied home across the street which took some heat damage to the exterior. Seven vehicles in a nearby parking lot also were damaged by the intense flames.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
