New Orleans' public schools are sticking with distance learning for now. NOLA Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Henderson Lewis announced today that the last week of the month will be distance-learning.
"We're going to keep our current distance model in place, and we will continue to watch these metrics over the next week."
Lewis says they'll have another announcement no later than January 28, one week from today. But school officials today said the data look promising.
"I'm hoping to provide very good news at that time," said Lewis."
