New Orleans Police announced Thursday they have made arrests in three homicide cases this month.

Police say their Violent Offenders squad and deputy U.S. Marshals arrested 26-year-old Timothy Hall for Sunday's French Quarter homicide in the 600 block of Iberville St.


NOPD, U.S. Marshals, and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office teamed up to arrest 17-year-old Ra'Quine Butler for the August 12 Seventh Ward double-homicide in the 2100 block of Allen St.

And NOPD homicide detectives arrested 23-year-old Helmer Valeriano-Ordonez for the August 9 murder in the 7800 block of Almonaster Ave.

All three suspects were arrested Wednesday August 27 and booked on charges of second degree murder.
