The New Orleans Police Department is asking for help finding a suspect in a homicide.
Police say 45-year-old Rechitha Jackson is wanted for second degree murder in a homicide from January 27.
"At about 2:00 a.m., NOPD Third District officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 3400 block of Saint Anthony Street," police said the day of the crime. "Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male victim inside of a pickup truck and having sustained multiple gunshot wounds."
Police said detectives later determined the actual shooting happened a few blocks away in the 2000 block of Lafreniere Street.

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
