The New Orleans Police Department has taken the rare step of identifying a juvenile criminal suspect.
Authorities say 15-year-old Tevin Cooper (below) is wanted for multiple violent crimes, including armed robbery and carjacking. All incidents occurred during a September 5 crime spree.

According to police, NOPD Second District detectives and members of the NOPD’s Violent Crimes Abatement Investigative Team identified Cooper as a perpetrator in the following investigations:
-An armed robbery in the 200 block of Loyola Avenue.
-An armed carjacking at the intersection of Henry Clay Avenue and Annunciation Street
-An attempted armed robbery in the 6100 block of Magazine Street.
-An armed carjacking in the 800 block of Port Street.
Police say anyone who has information on Cooper's whereabouts should call NOPD Second District detectives at 504-658-6020, or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111 or toll free at (877) 903-7867 (STOP).
Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward.
