New Orleans Police are on scene of a double shooting where both of the victims have now been pronounced dead.
Officers arriving at the scene around 8:35am at 2900 Daneel Street near the intersection with Sixth Street in the Faubourg Livaudais neighborhood found two gunshot wound victims.
Both were transported to a hospital by EMS.
One of the victims has since been pronounced dead.
Minutes later NOPD reports the second victim has died of their gunshot wounds.
A homicide investigation is now underway.
