New Orleans Police are on scene of an apparent homicide in the 11000 block of Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans East.
Investigators say the victim is a female who was declared dead on the scene.
The initial location of the homicide was listed as the 4600 block of Nottingham Drive.
NOPD was first notified of this incident at about 6:42 p.m.
There is no word why the location changed.
