Police in New Orleans are investigating a pair of shootings Sunday night.
The first shooting happened just before 10 pm at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and North Prieur Street. Initial police reports show an adult female having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital.
About 30 minutes later, a second shooting happened in the 3200 block of Loyola Avenue.
Police say an adult female with multiple gunshot wounds has been transported from the scene to a local hospital via EMS.
Investigators are working to determine a suspect and a motive for the shooting.
