The NOPD is investigating a shooting near the intersection of Laharpe Street and North Claiborne Avenue.
An NOPD report says it happened at about 11:40 p.m. Sunday night. The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS. No further details are currently available.
According to New Orleans City Council’s Crime Dashboard, there have been 17 non-fatal shootings in the 7th Ward compared to 13 shootings in 2020.
