The NOPD is investigating an aggravated battery by shooting that happened Thursday night in Treme.
According to police, around 11:30 p.m. when an adult male victim arrived at a local hospital in a private vehicle. He was suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip.
Through the investigation, police determined the shooting happened in the 2100 block of Ursulines Avenue.
