New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 5900 block of Odin Street.
Police say shortly after 2:30 p.m. Thursday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a nab shot in that location.
"Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim outside on the street suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body," said police in a statement. "The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS, via a medical doctor."
