The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that wounded a man in the Milan neighborhood Tuesday morning.
According to police, the shooting happened around 6:51 a.m. in the 2200 block of Amelia Street.
Initial reports show that a male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
