New Orleans Police are investigating a fatal hit and run accident.
The collision occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. last night at the intersection of North I-10 Service Road and Bundy Road.
An adult female was reportedly riding her bike along the service road when she was struck by a white-color 2011 Infinity vehicle, which fled the scene without stopping.
NOPD suspects the driver of the vehicle was female as well. New Orleans EMS confirmed the victim was deceased on scene.
The Orleans Parish Coroner will confirm the cause of death and release the victim's identity once the family has been notified.
