The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide in the Seventh Ward.
Police learned of the crime this afternoon when a gunshot wound victim arrived at a local hospital by way of private vehicle, and was pronounced dead.
NOPD initially did not have information on where the deadly shooting happened. Investigators were later able to piece together that it happened in the 1800 block of Touro Street.

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
