UPDATE: NOPD says the child has been reunited with her family. "The child’s parents have been located" Sgt. Barry Fletcher said in an email. He did not say if there will be any charges or further investigation.
New Orleans Police want to find the family of a girl found alone Tuesday morning in New Orleans East.
Police say the pictured child was found around 7 a.m., wandering on her own near Chef Menteur Highway and Sherwood Drive.
Now officers are trying to fin the girl's parents or guardians.
