The suspect in a homicide that happened last month near City Park is now in the Orleans Parish Prison.
McKenzie Kair, 21, is facing a second-degree murder charge for the death of Reynard Cennett, 35. Police found Cennett dead of a gunshot wound on Harrison Avenue near Bayou St. John back on February 22.
Fair was already in jail when police obtained an arrest warrant in connection with the homicide.
