The New Orleans Police Department announced the arrest of Adam Mohammad, who is accused of several vehicle burglaries in the City Park area.
“On September 27, 2021, NOPD Third District Detectives were conducting proactive patrols in the City Park area due to an increase in reported auto burglaries,” said an NOPD report. “During a patrol, officers located Mohammad operating a Dodge Caravan in the area. Through investigation, detectives had documented 12 arrest warrants on Mohammed for multiple auto burglaries in both the City Park and lakefront areas in July, August and September of 2021.”
Mohammad was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on multiple charges including nine counts of simple burglary, three counts of access device fraud and two counts of identity theft.
He was also booked on an outstanding warrant out of Jefferson Parish.
