An early Mardi Gras morning shooting in the Upper Ninth Ward has left a man dead and police searching for clues.
According to an NOPD spokesman, that shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday near the corner of North Galvez and Piety Streets.
Responding officers found the victim dead at the scene. So far, investigators have not named any suspects or possible motives.
