New Orleans police are investigating an Easter morning shooting in the French Quarter.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on Bourbon Street near Bienville Street.
Police say two men were involved in a fight when one of them pulled a gun and began firing, hitting the victim in the knee. According to investigators, the victim initially refused medical treatment, but he later went to a hospital after experiencing knee pain. That's when he and doctors discovered that he had been shot.
The case is still under investigation.
