The New Orleans Police Department says it is investigating a homicide in the 2800 block of Comus Court. That's in the St. Roch neighborhood.
According to police, a man was shot dead on the scene.
The crime was reported just after 1:45 Wednesday afternoon. It is the third homicide reported today in New Orleans.
Just after 10:30 a.m., a man was shot multiple times and died in the 2800 block of South Johnson St. in the Hoffman Triangle.
And shortly after 7:30 this morning, a man was found dead with gunshot wounds in the 8800 block of Pritchard Place, in Hollygrove off of Earhart Boulevard.
