Police are on the scene of a single-car crash on Interstate 10 East near the I-610 split.
The crash happened around noon on Sunday on I-10 East near the railroad overpass about a quarter of a mile from the Metairie Road exit. A witness tells WWL that the car went off the road and that someone in the vehicle was ejected.
According to traffic camera video posted to DOTD’s website, a NOPD officer and DOTD motor assistance personnel are on scene.
