New Orleans police are searching for a man they say shot and killed another in Gentilly last week.
That shooting happened around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday on Franklin Avenue near Sage Street, about a block away from Interstate 610. The victim later died at a hospital.
Surveillance video taken from a nearby convenience store shows the man police say carried out that shooting. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a dark-colored hoodie with an orange "Local" logo on the front, faded blue jeans that have cuts in the knees, and black shoes.
