Bold drivers defy the law, put on a dangerous stunt show in the streets of New Orleans, and now the New Orleans Police Department is on the hunt for persons of interest and the vehicles involved in the incident.
Police say vehicles were doing burnouts in the middle of the intersection of St. Claude and St. Roch Avenues on Sunday as crowds of spectators cheered drivers on. When an NOPD officer arrived on the scene to disburse the crowd, the mob turned against the officer and took their aggression out on the officer’s cop car.

Now the NOPD has video evidence of the people who kicked and jumped on the hood of the cop car.
“The attached vehicles were identified as vehicles that participated in this unlawful event,” says an NOPD report.

Anyone who can identify these individuals or knows the whereabouts or owners of the vehicles involved is urged to contact NOPD at (504) 821-2222 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111, toll free 1-877-903-7867.
