NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Michael Ranson in the investigation of a shooting that occurred on September 11, 2022, in the 5000 block of Lakeshore Drive near New Orleans Lakefront Airport.
Through investigation, NOPD Third District detectives have developed and positively identified Ranson as the perpetrator who, just before 5:00 a.m. on September 11, allegedly shot the victim during a verbal altercation.
Ranson is wanted on one count of attempted second-degree murder.
