The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for an armed robbery in the Filmore neighborhood.
It happened Thursday in the 5500 block of Pratt Drive.
An NOPD report says, “At about 12:43 p.m. on February 10, the victims arrived at the location in their vehicle. As the victims exited the vehicle, the pictured unknown black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red undershirt, khaki pants and black shoes approached armed with a handgun. The subject then demanded the victims’ property at gunpoint. One of the victims threw their vehicle keys to the ground. The subject picked up the keys, entered the victim’s vehicle and attempted to flee, but failed to start the car. The subject then exited the vehicle, threw the keys on the ground and fled on foot.”
