New Orleans Police Department

UPDATE: NOPD has canceled the search for the persons of interest and WWL TV reports both individuals are under arrest. Police release further information later today.

Original story:

New Orleans police are looking for two persons of interest who may have information about the shooting at Dookie Chase that left a man dead and three women wounded.

NOPD Deputy Superintendent Nicholas Gernon said surveillance cameras near the crime scene led them to these two person of interest.

"They are not currently wanted," Gernon said. We believe they have critical information regarding what might have happened (and) that they may have key pieces of information as to our next steps in our investigation."

Gernon said two of the three surviving victims have been released from the hospital. Gernon says the third remains hospitalized and faces a long road to recovery.

NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick called on the gunman to surrender to police.

"Let's get closure on this," Kirkpatrick said. "Let's move on. Let's bring justice to the family (of the deceased) and the victims."

The reward for information leading to the gunman's arrest stands at $13,500. If you have any information about the case or about the persons of interest, call the NOPD at 504-658-5300 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
