A drug bust in Uptown New Orleans yielded drugs, firearms, and more than $20,000 cash along with one arrest, the New Orleans Police Department says.
The NOPD's Second District conducted the investigation in the 1300 block of Leonidas Street. Officers executed a search warrant on the residence of 54-year-old Daniel Hudson.
"During the search, detectives confiscated $20,098 in cash, 254.3 grams of crack-cocaine, 51.9 grams of cocaine mixed with Fentanyl, 46 multicolored Ecstasy pills, 9 blue Alprazolam pills, 18 Tramadol pills, 22 Hydrocodone pills, 78 Diazepam pills, and 3 prescription boxes of Suboxone," said police. "A digital scale, and 2 firearms were seized."
Police booked Hudson on possession with intent to distribute narcotics, two counts of illegally carrying weapons, as well as charges of being a felon in possession of firearms.
